Fireaway is partnering with Kentec to deliver integrated fire protection solutions combining Kentec’s Sigma extinguishant control panels with Stat-X® aerosol fire suppression and UltraSense™ detection systems. Fireaway achieved Bureau Veritas Type Approval and EU/UK Marine Equipment Certification for Stat-X® condensed aerosol fire-extinguishing systems following MSC.1/Circ.1270 evaluation. The approvals support the use of Stat-X on SOLAS-regulated vessels worldwide, including global, EU-flagged, and UK-flagged ships.

Fireaway Inc. introduces our new Stat-X® 1000T thermally or manually operated generator, PN 15710. Now, this is our largest thermal/manual unit that carries the UL and ULC mark. This unit has been requested for many projects and it is currently available.
Fireaway Inc. is proud to announce receipt of the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Certificate of Approval (COA) for our pre-engineered Stat-X® condensed aerosol fire suppression systems to protect Class A (surface), B, and C hazards in marine applications. USCG certified fire protection products are required for vessels operating within the waters of the United States. Stat-X is the first aerosol fire suppression system to secure this respected approval.
Fireaway Inc. confirms the UL listing of our Stat-X® 100T, 250T, and 500T products. These fire suppression generators are part of our thermal, manual, and thermal/manual product line. In addition, our Stat-X thermal product line includes a service life of 15 years.
Fireaway Inc. expands its Minnetonka facility by an additional 12,000 square feet.
We announced previously that UL has extended the Stat-X® generator Service Life to 15 Years! Effective October 15, 2021, we have UL listing to 15-year service life on the generators listed below. These generators will be shipped on all new orders. Electrically Operated: 30E, 60E, 60ME, 100E, 250E, 500E, 1000E, 1500E, and 2500E. In addition, our non-UL listed Stat-X units will now have referenced on their labels the extended 15 year life. This includes our 250ME and 1000ME.
