FireGator™ Fire Suppression System Protects School Buses

Our distributor partner, FireGator LLC, specializes in school bus fire protection in the United States and has completed this installation.

The FireGator™ Fire Suppression System, model FG500H, which includes the use of Stat-X^® aerosol generators. Two Stat-X electrical generators, both model 250ME, where installed with one on each side of the engine compartment near the high-risk areas. This bus system uses a patented “HALO” which goes over the engine to provide simple and effective detection coverage that activates the releases of our patented condensed aerosol fire suppression agent. The exit ports for the aerosol are shown with a protective cover due to this harsh environment. This fire suppression system is protecting the front engine bay.
